Belair Time
Corporation's
Warranty Information
Each Belair timepiece is
backed by 55 years of watch making experience, and a three year limited
warranty from the Belair Time Corporation. An instruction and
warranty manual is provided with each watch. Be
sure to send your warranty registration to Belair within 10 days of the
purchase date.
Three Year Limited
Warranty
Your timepiece is warranted
for three years from the date of purchase, against failures due to
defective materials or workmanship, under normal use. During this three
year period, Belair will repair such defects, free of charge (except the
fee for mailing and handling*), provided that the timepiece has been
used and operated in accordance with the instructions in the enclosed
manual.
The warranty does not cover
the free repair or replacement of cases, batteries, watchbands, straps,
dials, crowns, clasps, or crystals, etc., since such items are subject
to the wear and tear of daily use. The warranty is void if watch has
been tampered with, abused, exposed to moisture (for watches which are
not marked water-resistant) or subject to extreme conditions for which
it was not designed, or if other than factory genuine parts have been
used.
This warranty, provided by
the Belair Time Corporation, gives you specific legal
rights and you may also have other legal rights which vary
from state to state.
This information was
taken from the Belair manual on
May 30, 2000 and is subject to change without notice.
*The current mailing and
handling fee for watches that require factory service is $15.00 (US
funds).
